HUMAN HEALTH HAZARDS - ACUTE:

INHALATION:

May cause imitation of mucous membranes. May cause headache and dizziness.  Components of the product may affect the nervous system.

SKIN CONTACT:

Can cause mild irritation.

EYE CONTACT:

Can cause mild irritation

INGESTION:

Harmful: may cause lung damage if swallowed. There may be irritation to   the   gastro - intestinal tract with nausea and vomiting. 4. FIRST-AID MEASURE

INHALATION:

Remove to  fresh  air , rest, treat symptomatically . Obtain medical attention.

EYE CONTACT:

immediately  gently  irrigate with clean water for at least 15 minutes. move eyeball and keep eyelids wide open and apart whilst irrigating. obtain medical attention  immediately

INGESTION:

Do not induce vomiting: Contains petroleum distillates and/or aromatic solvents.                                       If conscious washout mouth and give one pint of water to drink. Obtain medical attention.

ADDITIONAL  INFORMATION:

If unconscious do not give anything by mouth, place in the recovery position, check breathing and pulse. If necessary give artificial respiration.

5. FIRE-FIGHTING MEASURES

EXTINGUISHING MEDIA:

Water spray, foam, dry powder , carbon dioxide.

UNSUITABLE  EXTINGUISHING MEDIA:

Do not use water jets.

SPECIAL  PROTECTIVE  EQUIPMENT  FOR FIRE  FIGHTING:

In case of fire, wear a full face positive - pressure  self  contained breathing  apparatus   and protective  suit. Water  mist may be  used to cool closed containers.

6. ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES

PERSONAL  PRECAUTIONS :

Remove  sources  of ignition.  Ensure adequate ventilation. Wear organic vapours respirator if  ventilation is  inadequate. METHODS  FOR  CLEANING  UP:

Contain and absorb with sand or vermiculite and mix well. Collect up and remove to a safe place   until disposal. Wash site of spillage thoroughly with water and detergent. Assistance can obtained   from waste disposal companies.

HANDLING:

Avoid contact with skin and eyes. If clothing is contaminated, remove clothing and thoroughly wash the affected area. Launder contaminated clothing before reuse. Ensure adequate ventilation, No smoking. Avoid use of rubber.

STORAGE CONDITIONS:

Keep container tightly closed in a cool, well- ventilated place. Connections must be grounded to avoid electrical charges. Store away from heat and sources of ignition. store separately  from  oxidizers. Storage for more than two years is not recommended.
